A group of people asked me to be part of their Batman group, I wanted to do a character that wasn’t regularly costumed. I saw the Hush version of the costume and was really in love with the boots. Also I wanted a costume that had a cape to cover my butt. |

This was one of my first comicbook costumes so I went more ‘off the pages.’ The bodysuit was a heavy duty spandex; the mask was craft foam that was heated to a mannequin head and then covered in fake purple leatherette. Leatherette was also used for all the pouches, arm guards and shin pads. For the buckle I lucked out and bubble tape had the perfect shape. Once it was painted I took a large pin and put it on the front. I had a little Nerf gun painted silver as a weapon. |

This went over extremely well especially when I was in the Batman group. At the time, almost no one had done this version of the costume. If I wasn’t posing I was either pulling up my stockings or dealing with one of the 894753 pouches I had. Visually I love thigh highs, wearing them is a complete pain in the ass.
