Arms:
The armor was sculpted on a plaster cast of my arms, hands and knees. Then cast in resin with metal powder, so none of the pieces had to be painted to get a metal look. The arms were a challenge due to the fact you don’t want to bulk up the form. We wanted to keep the arms looking feminine. Chris did most of the work on these; I assisted with the grunt work like sanding and basic mold stuff. As well as figuring out how to attach the pieces. All the pieces were a fixed to an underamour shirt with the altered neck.
Body:
Since there isn’t too much to the costume other than the arms, I wanted to make sure I picked a fabric that was unique and suitable to the character, which is why I went with latex. I had no idea how to work in latex so I contacted Vesperi and comissioned it from her. It’s a basic bodysuit; I wanted rouching in the front for added effect. The boots were a fantastic deal on ebay.
Blade:
I purchased the blade, and while I know it’s not to scale, it is a working giant Buttefly knife made of harden steel. I wanted to have a real weapon rather than a fake prop, which can cause a problem when bringing it to conventions.
